Joann Lee Ballas

Mrs. Joann Lee Hotz Ballas, 82, of Winston-Salem passed away Monday, March 9, 2015 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born February 15, 1933 in Jones County, Iowa to Eldon Henry and Eva Elizabeth Tenley Hotz. She was a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. Surviving are her son, Jack Evans; a stepson, George Ballas; a stepdaughter, Kathy Pinger; and a granddaughter, Diane Ballas. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Fr. Demetri Kangelaris officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 AM prior to the service. A fellowship hour will be offered after the service at the Greek Orthodox Church.
