Jo Ann Landreth Irvin

Mrs. Jo Ann Landreth Irvin passed away on Friday, October 22, 2010 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem, NC. She was born on June 18, 1932 in Cripple Creek, VA, the eldest daughter of the late, Joseph R. and Hallie Littreal Landreth. She leaves to cherish her memory, her two daughters, Donna Irvin Hilton and son-in-law, Bobby and Kathy Irvin Flowers and son-in-law, Marc; her son, Roger Clinton Irvin; five grandchildren, Brandon Hilton, Jeff Irvin, Jessica Irvin, Brock Flowers and John Flowers; three great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Bryson Hilton and Emri Marie Irvin; six sisters, Jean Widner, Carrie Catron, Nancy Akers, Susan Shupe, Bobbie Dirks, Debbie Dunford and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at Grubb Funeral Home in Wytheville, VA on Sunday evening from 6:00 Until 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be conducted at Cripple Creek Church of God of Prophecy in Cripple Creek, VA on Monday, October 25, 2010 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Tony Vaughan officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A special heartfelt thank you goes to Bobbie and Bob Dirks, Jessica Irvin, Debbie Irvin, and John Flowers for all the loving care shown to our mother during her last days. The family would also like to thank Dr. Steven Tatter and the staff in 5A/ 5C ICU's at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center as well as Bermuda Commons and Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.
