Jimmy Harold Walker

Mr. Jimmy Harold Walker, 80 of Winston-Salem died Friday August 7, 2009 at his home. Mr. Walker was born November 3, 1928 in Davidson County, a son of the late Ernest Walker and the late Estella Ward Walker. He was an U.S. Army veteran and was retired from the United States Postal Service with many years of service. He also coached baseball for the Winston-Salem Nationals for many years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Hilda G. Walker in 2002. Mr. Walker is survived by his nephew, Richard Grubbs and wife Sharon, and sister-in-law, Phylis Rogers. A service will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, August 10, 2009 at Forsyth Memorial Park Mausoleum with Rev. Bryant Madren officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
