Jimmy Monroe Newman

Mr. Jimmy Monroe Newman, 56, passed away April 9, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born April 26, 1956 in Forsyth County to Curtis Monroe Newman and Shirley Tuttle Newman. Jimmy served in the U.S. Army and had a passion for riding his Harley-Davidson. He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his daughter Angela Dawn Newman of King; his mother, Shirley Tuttle Newman of Clemmons; two grandchildren, Haylie and Holden Trueblood of King; a sister, Donna Newman Thoms of West Virginia; two nephews, Terry Helms and Nathan Christmas both of Winston-Salem. He is also survived by his dog and faithful companion Harley. A memorial service will be held at 7:00pm, Friday, April 12, 2013 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Chaplain Sheree Jones Officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
