Jimmy Wayne Neal, Sr.

Jimmy Wayne Neal, Sr., 74, passed away January 22, 2011 from asbestosis. He was born in Walkertown, NC on October 12, 1936 to Joe Burnie Neal and Lottie Mae Reid Neal. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Gale Helms Neal, a daughter, Patricia Neal, and a sister-in-law, JoAnn Neal. He is survived by his wife, Doreen Neal of the home; his sons, Jimmy (Cherry) Neal, Jr. and Todd (Crystal) Neal; four grandsons, Joshua (Michelle), Jeremiah, Seth, and Justin Neal; a great-granddaughter, Jennifer Neal; two brothers, Jesse Jo Neal and Woody (Jayne) Neal; special friends, Wayne and Betty Fulp, and David Jones. He worked for A. C. Corporation for 38 years. A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00pm, Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown with the Reverend Phil Wagoner officiating. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Walkertown Cemetery Fund or to Hospice and Palliative Care Center. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Thomas Hinson, Jr.
