Jimmy Lee Myers

Mr. Jimmy Lee Myers of Advance passed away early Monday morning, December 7, 2015. Jimmy retired from R J Reynolds with 36 years of service. He had been a member of the Masonic Lodge in Advance for 44 years and was Past Master twice during his membership. He is survived by his wife Polly Myers and three children, Tammy Cleary, Bobby Myers and Tim Myers (Kim Myers). He had four grandchildren, Zackary Russell-Myers, Colby Tucker, Jordan and Joey Myers. He has two surviving sisters, Jean Dzeskewicz of Winston-Salem and Pat Idol of Kernersville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Marvin Myers, two brothers, Marvin (Kermit) Myers and Donald (Boone) Myers and a sister, Betty Ann Horn. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Mocks United Methodist Church by Rev. Gary Elrod and Rev. Richard Eskew. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
