Jimmy Lee "Jim" Lashmit

Jimmy ""Jim"" Lee Lashmit, 64, a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend, received his wings Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born March 8, 1951 in Forsyth Co. to the late Jack Lee and Mozelle Blackburn Lashmit. Jim was employed with Jones Marketing and Associates. He was an avid NASCAR fan and his demeanor and personality was as bright and colorful as the clothes and shoes that he was always known for. Jim will be truly missed by all who knew him. Surviving are his wife, Anita Bentley Lashmit; two sons, William ""Will"" Lashmit and Brandon (Alyssha) Bentley; grandchildren, Braelyn and Jackson Bentley; two brothers, Tony (Ginger) Lashmit and Randall Lashmit; and a niece and nephew, Kristin and Scott Lakshmit. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 3:00 pm Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Lee Jensen officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 - 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. A private family interment will be conducted at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory.
