Jimmy Oliver Hazelwood

Kernersville - Mr. Jimmy Oliver Hazelwood, 51, passed away at his home. Mr. Hazelwood was born in Guilford County on January 8, 1960 to Dennis Hazelwood and Mary Hazelwood. He was preceded in death by his father and a special nephew, Conrad Nuckles. Surviving are his wife, Theresa Barney Hazelwood; a daughter, Annie Hazelwood both of the home; two sons, Allen Hazelwood and his wife Shannon of Reidsville; Brian Hazelwood and his wife Emily also of Reidsville; two stepsons, Ryan Williams of Winston-Salem and Jason Williams and his wife Liz of Newnan, GA; five grandchildren, Luke Hazelwood, Drew Hazelwood, Bryson Hazelwood, Noah Williams and Regan Williams; his mother, Mary Hazelwood Wade and her husband Wallace of Danville, VA; his sister, Dare Bernasek and her husband Paul of Lexington; his brother, Ricky Hazelwood and his wife Norma Jean of Milton, FL; and nieces, Christina Carrino and Betsy Orr and family; and his beloved dog Dutchess. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek chapel with Rev. Bibb officiating. Interment will follow at Browder Cemetery in Germanton.
