Jimmy Dean Grant

Mr. Jimmy Dean Grant,49, of Winston-Salem died Sunday, April 21, 2013 at Wake Forest Baptist Health. He was born July 22, 1963 in Roberson County to Wenasdell and Nettie Chavis Grant. Mr. Grant was a member of Mt. Carmel Church of the Living God. He was a 1981 graduate of Parkland High School where he was a member of the ROTC and various Drill Teams. He was preceded in death by his wife, Tammy Clark Grant, his father, and nephew Max. Survivors include his mother and step father, Nettie Lee Jacobs and Gilbert Jacobs of Winston-Salem; two brothers, Billy Grant (Carol Rae) and Jamie Grant (Kandis) of Winston-Salem; and five nieces and nephews, Chad, Mitchell, Daniel, Andrew and Brandi. The funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Mt. Carmel Church of the Living God with Rev. Charlie Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home on Silas Creek Parkway. Memorials may be made to Mt.
