Jimmie Carlton Radford

Mr. Jimmie Carlton Radford, age 63, of Clemmons, NC, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2024, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. He was born May 7, 1961, in San Francisco, CA, to the late Shirley Jean Cox and later adopted by Kenneth Rogers Radford.  

Jimmie enjoyed playing pool and having fun with his friends and family. He never met a stranger, he loved souls, and was always ready to share God's love with everyone. He was a true warrior for the Lord.  

He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Jean Cox; his father, Kenneth Radford; and his brother, Michael Radford. 

He is survived by his wife, Dana S. Radford of the home; children, David Radford (Maranda) and Paula Radford; step-children, Jamie Carmack (Buddy), Caleb Russell and Cory Russell (Charity); and 10 grandchildren. 

A special thank you to the Trauma ICU team at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center for their kindness and compassion. Their support helped our family through this difficult time.  

A celebration of life service will be held in the Meeting Room at the Holiday Inn Express in Clemmons, NC, on Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 3:00PM to 8:00PM (floating).
