Jimmie Ray Lane, Jr.

Jimmy Ray Lane, Jr. died peacefully surrounded by his family on September 26 at Hospice of Davidson County. Jimmy was born in Forsyth County on August 26, 1957 to Barbara Davis Lane and Jimmy Ray Lane, Sr. Jimmy previously owned Konnoak Discount Vacuums in Winston-Salem. He was an avid fisherman. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Barbara Davis Lane and Jimmy Ray Lane, Sr. as well as his beloved grandparents Buford and Rillar Collins Lane.

Jimmy is survived by his children, Darryl Lane (Jessica) of Winston-Salem and Ashley Johnson (Henry) of Oxford, Mississippi. He is also survived by grandchildren, Kailani Lane, Merrel Lane Johnson, Rillar Lane and Julian Johnson II, as well as many other family members who all loved him dearly.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 6:00 PM Monday, September 28, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service.
