Jimmie Frank Hedgecock

Jimmie Frank Hedgecock of Clemmons, passed away peacefully at Forsyth Medical Center; on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at the age of 82. The son of NC and Elva Hedgecock, Jim was born and raised in High Point, NC. He graduated from High Point High School and attended Guildford College as a voice major, after graduation he performed with the USO. Jim loved singing in the church choir and was often asked to sing in wedding ceremonies. He was a master wood craftsman, who had a quick wit, always telling jokes and funny stories. Jim is survived by his sons, Chris (Julia), and Eric (Shelley); along with his brother, Barry (Trish); and longtime friends, John, Bill, and Dr. Carl. A visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 6:00pm on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at Friedberg Moravian Church. A private burial will take place at Parklawn Memorial Park on Monday, June 10, 2024. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations made to the Wounded Warrior Project in honor of Jim.
