Jimmie Ross Blalock

Mr. Jimmie Ross Blalock, Sr., 73, of Winston-Salem, passed away Friday, September 6, 2013. Jimmie was born November 27, 1939 in Forsyth County to the late Lee Roy Blalock, Sr. and Frances Barringer Blalock. He was of the Hanes High School Class of 1958 and was Co-Owner of Blalock Brothers Produce Company. Jimmie loved his family, Wake Forest Basketball, NASCAR and Antique Cars. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters: Nancy Blalock Stanley, Linda Blalock and a brother, Lee Roy ""Pete"" Blalock. Surviving are his companion, Sara Ford, two brothers; Adam William Blalock, Robbie Blalock (Martha), a son; Jimmie Ross Blalock, and wife, Heather, two daughters; Jennifer Blalock Reavis, and husband, Joel, Paige Passerallo and husband, Mark, grandchildren: Bree Shadrick and husband Johnny, Kaydee Lyons, Emily Blalock, (Casey), Jessica Reavis, Jenna Reavis, Allyson Blalock, Jacob Passerallo, and two great-grandchildren: Madison and Mason Shadrick. The Blalock family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Sunday, September 8, 2013 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. A Graveside Service will be conducted 11:00 am Monday, September 9, 2013 at Salem Cemetery officiated by Rev. Dan Wilkers. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com
