Jill Marie Lawler

Mrs. Jill Marie Lawler, 58, loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and devoted friend to many, died on Sunday, January 24, 2010 at her home. She was born February 1, 1951 in Davenport, Iowa to the late William and Mary Dolan Webb. Mrs. Lawler was a graduate of Newman Central Catholic High school and Lewis University. She was an active member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Divine Mercy Centecle, longtime Girl Scout leader, youth minister and avid supporter of catholic education and pro-life advocate. Preceding her in death are her parents, father-in-law and one son, Sean. Surviving is her husband William T. Lawler; six children, Julie Smith and husband Joel of Stephens City, VA, Kathryn Lawler and husband Scott Ball of Atlanta, GA, Amy Munday and husband Shawn of Brooklyn, NY, Brian Lawler and wife Jean of Asheville, NC, Patrick Lawler and Thomas Lawler, both of Clemmons; seven grandchildren, Dimitri, Dolan and Noah Smith, Nora and Milner Ball and Silas and Troy Munday; four sisters, Patricia Horn, Ann Connell, Kristine Tyne and Gina Weeks; four brothers, Bill, Barney, Mark and R.J. Webb; 23 nephews, 14 nieces and 51 first cousins. A funeral mass will be conducted at 1:00 PM Friday, January 29, 2010 at Holy Family Catholic Church by Father Michael Buttner. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 9:00 PM on Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church.
