Jettie Oliver Turner Myers, 39, of Clemmons, went to be with Jesus on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born March 6, 1974 in Guilford County. Jettie was a member of First Alliance Church of Lexington. Surviving are her parents, Hazel Smith Oliver and Clayton Holman Oliver; her husband, Greg Myers; one son, Mearl Turner; one sister, Florence Sink (Eric); one brother, Clay Oliver (Karla); two aunts, Clara McCrary (Lynn) and June Smith; one uncle, Eddie Smith; nieces and nephews, Eric Sink, Jr., Rebecca Sink, Jonathan Sink (Erica), Hannah Sink, Clay Oliver, IV and Erica and Liam Sink; numerous cousins; mother and father-in-law, Brenda and Kermit Myers and Jettie's best friend, Amelia Stanley (Albert) and a special thanks to her extended family and many friends. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at First Alliance Church of Lexington with Rev. Paul Titus, Pastor Mike Duffield and Dr. Harold Fletcher officiating. Interment will follow in Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Alliance Playground or Kitchen Fund, 1370 Arnold Rd., Lexington, NC 27295.
