Jesusa Jacobson

Jesusa Kyamko Jacobson, 83, passed away December 12, 2020 at Oliver House in Wendell, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Steven E. Jacobson, Sr. Survivors include two sons, Steven E. Jacobson, Jr. of Raleigh, NC and Edward T. Jacobson of Graham, NC, three grandchildren. Mrs. Jacobson was a long-time elementary teacher having taught for 36 years both in the Philippines and the United States. In addition to being an educator, Mrs. Jacobson was an excellent cook, especially of seafood. Mrs. Jacobson was born December 19, 1936 in Pinamungajan, Cebu, Philippines. She was educated in the public school and was graduated from Cebu State Teachers College with a B.S. degree in Elementary Education. Mrs. Jacobson was the eldest of 17 children born to the late Gonzalo B. Kyamko and Faustina G. Batan Kyamko. No formal services will be held. Entombment will be in Salem Cemetery.
