Jesus Chavez Arceo

Jesus Chavez Arceo, 76, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 13, 2023. He was born in Jalisco, Mexico on July 10, 1947, the son of the late Jesus Chavez Sanchez and Maria Trinidad Arceo. Jesus was a happy man who had many friends. He loved visiting with his family and friends. He will be remembered for his great since of humor and his love of bikes and music. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Petra Guerrero Ochoa; and a son, Ricardo Chavez Guerrero. Jesus is survived by four daughters, Maria Laura Chavez Guerrero, Irma Lorene Chavez Guerrero, Guadalupe Chavez Guerrero and Juana Chavez Guerrero, 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many siblings, nieces, nephews and extended family, here in the United States and Mexico. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Monday, December 18, 2023 at Hayworth-Miller Chapel in Rural Hall. Burial will follow at a later date in El Mirador, Mexico.
