Jessie Minton Langham

Kernersville- Jessie Minton Langham, 93, Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, passed to be With our Father and our Lord on July 31, 2011. She was born May 9, 1918 in Wilkes County NC in the Millers Creek Community. She was preceded in death by her loving Husband of 65 years, Elder J.A. Langham, and 8 brothers and sisters. She is survived by two Sons , James Langham of Kernersville, Steve and wife Sarah of Morehead City, NC, and daughter, Nancy Langham Holston and husband Bill of Winston Salem; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was a member of Saints Delight Primitive Baptist Church. Mom was a devoted pastors wife and soul mate and a role model of strength and Love to all of her children, grandchildren and great-grand children. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Thursday, August 4, 2011 at Saints Delight Primitive Baptist Church with Elder E. W. Hooven officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Wednesday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
