Jessie Mack Anders

Mr. Jessie Mack Anders passed away Tuesday afternoon March 14, 2017 at Regency Care of Clemmons. He was born on December 27, 1945 in Forsyth County to the late Mick and Ruth Anders. Jessie loved to play the guitar and sing songs, especially ""Going home to see my Lord"" and ""Amazing Grace"". He enjoyed coloring, watching television, and going to the beach. Jessie's family was amazed at his ability to care for animals. Wild birds and squirrels would often times come within feet of Jessie, chirping and squeaking, while he sang to them. The Anders family was very close, but nothing could separate the bond Walter and Jessie had. He was preceded in death by his brother Steve Anders; and brother in law Pete Grimes. Jessie is survived by two sisters Brenda Whitaker and husband Lewis and Darnell Grimes; two brothers Walter Anders and Rocky Anders and wife Sandy; and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, March 17, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel with Pastor Bill James officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Walktertown. A Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM - 12:00 Noon on Friday, March 17, at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville.
