Jessica Leigh Hammonds

Miss Jessica Leigh Hammonds, 28, of Winston-Salem died Sunday, January 10, 2010 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born September 1, 1981 in Winston-Salem. Miss Hammonds was a member of Greenstreet United Methodist Church where she loved the music. She was a former student of the Special Childrens School and was a graduate of the Winston-Salem/ Forsyth County School System. Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Susan and Dennis Millsaps of Winston-Salem; her brother, Chris Hammonds of Winston-Salem; her maternal grandmother, Nila Shelton of Winston-Salem; her paternal grandparents, Charles and Kathleen Millsaps of Winston-Salem; her aunt and uncle, Neena and Donnie Mabe of Pfafftown, her aunt, Melinda Crain of Winston-Salem and numerous special friends and caregivers. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 12:00 noon at Greenstreet United Methodist Church with Rev. Kelly Carpenter officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service starting at 10:30 am at the chruch.
