Jesse Lee Young

KERNERSVILLE-Jesse Lee Young, 69, passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 30, 1941 in Forsyth Co. to the late William Marshall and Mary Etta Slate Young. Jesse was a member of Glory Road Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife of 13 years, Brenda Sowers Young of the home; three sons, Ricky Young of High Point, Marshall Young of Winston Salem, Chris Young and wife, Jodi of Linwood; three daughters, Kay Lawrence of Kernersville, Tina Meyer of Winston Salem, Lisa Young of Lexington; one sister, Glenda Albert of Roanoke, VA; five grandchildren; and Papa's Baby, Pup-Pup. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 5:00 pm Saturday, August 14, 2010 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Pastor Charlie Whitaker officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Friday, August 13, 2010 at the funeral home and at other times at the home.
