WINSTON-SALEM-Mr. Jesse James Mandigo, 18, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at his home. Mr. Mandigo was born on July 11, 1996 in New York to Esteban ""Pepe"" George Mandigo and Deana Louise Preston Mandigo. He attended Glen High School. Jesse excelled in Pop Warner football, Upwards basketball and Kernersville Little League baseball. Jesse had a passion for cars and enjoyed hanging out with his friends and working on cars. Preceding Mr. Mandigo in death were his twin brothers, Tanner and Taylor Mandigo and his maternal grandmother, Joanne Gleason. In addition to his parents, Mr. Mandigo is survived by his daughter, Kailey Grace Mandigo; the mother of his daughter, Caroline ""Carrie"" Grace Ring; his brother, Garrett Mandigo; paternal grandparents, Joseph and Lila LaJoie; maternal grandfather, Stan Preston and Robert Palmer; numerous other loving relatives in New York, Florida and Texas and many friends. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Christ Wesleyan Church in Winston-Salem with Rev. Mark Tolan officiating. Jesse was a loving son to his parents, a best friend to his brother and a great daddy to his little girl. He had a big heart and was ""stronger than most.""
