Jesse Harp, Sr.

Mr. Jesse James Harp Sr., 62, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 12, 2018. He was born October 19, 1955 in Forsyth County to the late Betty Tesh Harp and James Calvin Harp. Jesse retired from Krispy Kreme with 32 years of service. He was a faithful member of Victory Ministry for Jesus. Jesse loved reading the Bible and doing the Lord's work. He will be greatly missed by all knew and loved him. In addition to his parents, Jesse was preceded in death by a daughter, Edna Louann Harp. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Debbie Harp; four children: Jesse, Joshua, Sherri, and Alisa; five grandchildren; and one sister, Brenda Workman. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 16, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with the Rev. Clayton Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
