Mr. Jesse Tise Doub, Sr., 84, of Pfafftown died Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born December 21, 1926 in Forsyth County, the son of the late Wesley and Ella May Shouse Doub. Mr. Doub was a member of Bethania Moravian Church and played clarinet in the Moravian Band. He was retired from R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Doub Kimball and his son, Wesley Buddy Doub. Survivors include his wife, Betty Parrish Doub of the home; one son, Jesse Tise Buck Doub, Jr. and wife, Kelly of Clemmons; one daughter, Mary Jean Doub Kirkus and husband, Fran of Love Valley; five grandchildren and one step-daughter, Darla Hicks Sam Tuttle of East Bend. A memorial service will be conducted Saturday at 11:00 AM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Dr. Steven Nance officiating.
