Jerry Victor Woosley

Mr. Jerry Victor Woosley, 74, passed away on March 20, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born on October 4, 1942 to Carl and Mildred Chapell Woosley in Oklahoma. Jerry retired from Salem Electric with 37 years of service. He loved all sorts of sports including golf and racing; and was an avid Dale Earnhardt, Jr. (and Sr.) fan. Jerry will be remembered for his friendly, outgoing nature; and will be greatly missed. In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Scott Woosley. Surviving are his loving wife of 53 years, Margaret Mabe Woosley; son, Victor Woosley; many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon,Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastors T.W. Bailey and Harold Fletcher officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
