Jerry Michael Tilley

Mr. Jerry Michael Tilley, 59, of Winston-Salem, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2008 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born October 1, 1949 in Forsyth County to Woodrow W. and Jessie Combs Tilley. Mr. Tilley attended Providence Moravian Church. He was an avid CBer and loved to ride his motorcycle. He was preceded in death by his brother, Scotty Tilley and one nephew, Jeff Tilley. Surviving are his wife, Joan Crumpler Tilley; one son, Michael Todd Tilley (wife Ronda); three daughters, Lori Lynne Bowman (husband Kevin), Kristan Renee Tilley (husband Ricky) and Robin Krites (husband Wes), all of Winston-Salem; ten grandchildren, one sister, Linda Sapp (husband Jim); three nieces and nephews; one brother-in-law, Gary Murray; uncles, Jr. Tilley, Ray Tilley, Harold Tilley, Paul Tilley, Theodore Tilley, Larry Combs and Royden Combs; aunts, Mrs. Ralph Combs and Catherine Harrison and a his very special friend, George Marler. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at Providence Moravian Church with Rev. Arkon Stewart officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any Newbridge Bank in memory of Jerry Tilley.
