Jerry Thomas

Mr. Jerry Lynn Thomas, 76, passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 19, 2021.  He was born January 16, 1945 in Alexander County to the late Greer and Gladys Thomas.  He was a long-time attendee of Centenary United Methodist Church.  Jerry enjoyed being around and spending quality time with friends and family, especially his grandson, Ashton.  One of his favorite trips they took together was their recent trip to Walt Disney World.  He also loved to eat, listen to blue grass, and simply living life.  In addition to his grandson, he is survived by his son, Shawn Lambert; cousin, Tim Keever (Debbie); close friend, Chris Martin; and many other special friends.  A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, April 23rd at Parklawn Memorial Park with Rev. Susannah Pittman, and Rev. Kate May officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Centenary United Methodist Church Children Ministry, P.O.
