Jerry Linn Rosenquist

KERNERSVILLE - Jerry Linn Rosenquist, 63, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2015. He was born January 25, 1952 in Forsyth County to the late Carl Albert and Althea Glenn Rosenquist.
As a child, Jerry lived in Glyndon MN, Bagley MN, and Belews Creek, NC. He graduated from East Forsyth High School. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Era. Jerry attended Forsyth Technical Community College and became a licensed general building contractor. He was a worker of wood, a craftsman, and a jack of all trades. He could take a dream, draw up some plans and create it. Jerry was an extremely kind, fair, intelligent, and peaceful person. He had a sweet and gentle sense of humor. Jerry enjoyed life and was easy going. He really took the time to care about and talk to the people he encountered in his daily life. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by many.

Surviving are his wife, Lisa McMillan Rosenquist; three children, Jeremy Quinn Spry Rosenquist, Eric Levi Rosenquist and Lily Kathryn Rosenquist; a step-son, Devlin James McMillan-Cashman; three brothers, Hal (Jane) Rosenquist, Mervin Rosenquist, and Joel (Deborah) Rosenquist; a sister, Glenda Chang; numerous nieces and nephews; and the mothers of his sons, Susan Spry (Jeremy) and Carol Lawson (Eric).

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. Burial will follow at Mt. Gur Cemetery.
