Jerry Wayne Heath

Mr. Jerry Wayne Heath, 69, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2011 at his home. Jerry was born September 26, 1942 in Forsyth County to the late George Lewis and Lessie Mullins Heath. Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Dirce Piccoli Heath, of the home; two sons, Jerry Kevin Heath and Jason Jay Heath (wife, Michelle); grandchildren, Brittinie Ann, Matthew Ryan and Jackson Luke Heath; great grandchild, Breanna Alane Sanchez; one brother, Larry Heath (wife, Edie); niece Candace Heath; and his extended loving Brazilian Family, mother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Jerry retired from Reynolds Tobacco Company after 38 years of service, where he was a dedicated, loyal employee in the Quality Control Division. After retirement, he worked with JTI and then Premium Tobacco Company in Brazil as a contractor. Jerry was a very caring, loving and giving husband, son and father, as well as, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. A memorial service will be held 3:30 pm Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Meghan McSwain officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Hospice Staff that cared for Jerry.
