Jerry Hailey, Sr.

Mr. Jerry E. Hailey, Sr., 66, of Ocala, FL passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2008. He was born in Winston-Salem on September 26, 1942. Jerry moved to the Ocala area in 1982 and worked at Lockheed Martin as a Food Service Manager. His hobbies included cooking and wine making. He was an avid NASCAR fan. Jerry is survived by his wife Denise Smith-Hailey; son, Jerry (Dora) Hailey; daughter, Sherrie; special son-in-law Frank McCloskey; brothers, Jimmy, Steve and Skip Hailey; sisters, Penney McHone and Judy Holleman, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00AM Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Richard Payne Officiating. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM until 8:00PM Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Marion Co., P.O.
