Jerry Grubbs

Mr. Jerry Nelson Grubbs, 77, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. He was born in Forsyth Co. on March 24, 1941 the son of the late Issac Nelson Grubbs and Connie Rozell Moser Grubbs. Jerry retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co with 37 years of service. He also farmed and ran Jerry and Jean’s Produce in Rural Hall. Jerry was a member of Corinth Church of Christ in Germanton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Tracey Dawn Grubbs, a son, Jack Allen Ernest, Jr. and a sister, Elanor Grubbs. Jerry is survived by his wife, Jean S. Grubbs of the home; two sons, Jerry “Dean” Grubbs of Winston-Salem and Davey Grubbs (Susan) of Clemmons; a daughter, Jill Dawn Warlick of Winston-Salem; four grandchildren, Matthew David Grubbs of Kernersville, Kayla Suzanne Grubbs of Winston-Salem, Austin Lee Grubbs of Fort Hood, TX, and William Brandon Warlick of Winston-Salem; one great-grandchild, Dillon Grubbs and one sister, Nora Sue Banner (John) of Rural Hall. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Corinth Church of Christ in Germanton. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 prior to the service at the church. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to: Corinth Church of Christ, 2784 S.
