Jerrie Lou Beamon Sizemore

Mrs. Jerrie Lou Beamon Sizemore, 84, fell peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Friday, September 24, 2021.

She was born in Forsyth County on April 14, 1937 to James Wilburn Beamon and Delma Pope Beamon.

Jerrie graduated from Griffith High School. She retired from Western Electric after 31 years of service. Jerrie was a longtime member of Forsyth Friends and later at Trinity Friends, where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She enjoyed painting, photography, bowling, and gardening. Jerrie absolutely loved the beach and spent lots of time there with friends and family. While she was at the beach, she enjoyed finding seashells to add to her collection.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Ray Sizemore.

Surviving family includes her daughters, Donna Rothrock Foster and Teresa Beasley and husband, Ned; sons, Larry “Keith” Rothrock and wife, Lori and Rod Sizemore and wife, Tammy; grandchildren, Santo Nicita, Joe Nicita, Taylor Foster, Justin Rothrock, Cody Rothrock, Jennifer Thompson, Taylor McClelland, Mark Sizemore, Natalie Beasley, and Scott Beasley; nine great-grandchildren; and her beloved K9 companion, Precious.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Robin Dixon officiating. Interment will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
