Jerleene Lindley

Mrs. Jerleene Southern Lindley. 74, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Accordius Health at Lexington. She was born on November 19, 1943 in Forsyth Co. the daughter of the late Grady Lee Southern and Arrella Byrd Southern. Mrs. Lindley was a Christian women, loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family dearly. She attended Harvest Temple Church of God in King and was involved with many activities within the church. Mrs. Lindley enjoyed knitting, sewing and being outdoors working in her garden. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Lindley, Sr.; and a sister, Joann White. She is survived by a son, Robert Lindley, Jr. (Paige); a daughter, Melissa Watkins; a grandson, Austin Watkins; a brother, Bobby Southern (Linda); and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown with Mr. Danny Myers officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 prior to the service at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Accordius Health at Lexington. The family of Mrs. Lindley would like to send a heartfelt thank you to the ownership and staff of Accordius Health at Lexington, for all of the love and care shown in their mother's time of need.
