Jerldine Bolen Smith

Mrs. Jerldine Bolen Smith, 74, passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at Kernersville Medical Center.

Jerldine was born May 12, 1939 to the late Elmer and Hazel Bolen. In her free time, she loved to garden and was excellent at canning vegetables. She was a member of Bible Fellowship Baptist Church in Pfafftown. Most of all she loved to spend time with her family. In addition to her parents, Jerldine is predeceased by husband, Robert Lee Smith, sisters, Betty LeVoy, Joan Armstrong, and Gail Smith, and brother, Harold Bolen.

Jerldine is survived by daughter, Teresa Crowe and her fiancée, Scott Winfield of Winston-Salem; sisters, Jean Merritt, Judy Creech, Deloris Keaton and Ruby Reynolds; and brothers, Jim Bolen, Richard Bolen, and Ray Bolen.

A celebration of Jerldine's life will be held Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 11 am at Westlawn Gardens of Memory Mausoleum Chapel with Pastor Leon Wishon officiating.
