Jennifer Ann James

Jennifer Ann James, 52, passed away on April 24, 2024, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. She was born on August 26, 1971, in Forsyth County to Ronald Gray James and Mickey Ann James. Where she grew up in Reedy Creek. Just outside of Lexington, North Carolina. 

Jennifer enjoyed spending her time, volunteering, being outdoors, gardening, planting her flowers, and playing with her grandson, River Curry. She also enjoyed riding motorcycles with her husband, Mike Pruitt. Jennifer was known for her love of cooking, she owned a restaurant in Midway, NC for many years: The Dawg House Grille. Jennifer was loved by many, and will be missed by all. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald James; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde James, and Mr. and Mrs. William White. Surviving are her loving husband, Michael Pruitt; daughter, Hunter Pennell (Tyler Curry); grandson, River Curry; son, Dillon (Sarah); mother, Mickey James; sister, Shandia Little (Vincent); and stepson, Austin Pruitt.
