Jeffrey Scott Pruitt, 54, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, January 16, 2018. Jeff was born May 13, 1963 in Forsyth County to Gene and Pat Pruitt. Jeff was a believer in the Christian faith. He worked for over 20 years at various apartment complexes as a maintenance supervisor. He loved music and playing rock-and-roll on his guitar with friends. Jeff was also a devoted Dale Earnhardt Sr fan. Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Gene Pruitt; and one brother, Randy Pruitt. Surviving are his mother, Pat Pruitt; three daughters, Elisha Pruitt Crews (Jamarus), Stephanie Pruitt Mabe (Scott), and Selena West (Charles Pitts); three grandchildren, Tony Samuels, Cierra Samuels, and Kennedy Mabe; one brother, Robert Pruitt (Lisa); and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 Friday, January 19, at the funeral home. A private family graveside will be held Monday at Parklawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Change of Heart Pitbull Rescue, 9660 Falls of Neuse Rd, Raleigh, NC 27615 or Hospice and Palliative Care, 101 Hospice Ln, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
