Jeannie Carol Colby

Jeannie Carol Haymore Colby, of Winston-Salem, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home surrounded by family. 

A funeral service will be held 12 PM Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home, Silas Creek Chapel with Uncle Michael Harper officiating. Burial will follow at 2:30 PM at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. 

The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. 

Jeannie was born May 19, 1953, in Guilford County, to Carrol Franklin Haymore and Margaret Jean Harper Haymore. She was a nurse for 36 years, and always wanted to help those in need, especially her patients. Jeannie loved spending time with her family and adored her dogs. She was preceded in death by her parents. 

Left to cherish her memory is her brother, Steve Haymore (Karen) of High Point; two sisters, Susan Harris (David) of Mocksville, and Betsy Moore (Kevin) of Beulaville; fourteen nieces and nephews; and numerous grandnieces and grandnephews.
