Jeanette Ersa Lyons Jessee

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Leland Michael “Jess” Jessee; two brothers, William Robert “Bill” Lyons; and Jimmy Jones Lyons; and sister, Janice Katie Lyons.  Jeanette is survived by her son, Christopher Lee Henson (Kim); two grandchildren, Sydney Christina Wilkerson (Frank) and Kristen Henson Oberst (Matt); great-grandchild, Quintin Wilkerson; niece, Laura Ann Blomquist (John); nephew, William “Eric” Lyons; and two great-nieces, Emily and Sarah Blomquist.  The family would like to extend a special thank you to Jeanette’s care givers: Debbie, Rita, and Netta; and the Hospice Angels: Mary, Beverly, Carrie, and Taylor for their continued loving care over the past 14 weeks. The family would also like to thank all friends and family for their continued love, care, support, and prayers.  

The family will receive friends from 10:30AM to 12 noon Wednesday, May 31st at Trinity Methodist Church, located at 3819 Country Club Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27104. A funeral service will follow at 12 noon with Pastor Doug Miller officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to either Trinity Methodist Church, 3819 Country Club Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27104 or Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
