Jeanette Parrish Garner

KERNERSVILLE-Jeanette Dull Parrish Garner, 79, passed away Monday, December 29, 2014. She was born February 18, 1935 in Forsyth Co. to the late Clarence and Mary Hubbard Dull.

Jeanette was a volunteer at Forsyth Medical Center for over 14 years. She was a former director of the senior programs at Kernersville Wesleyan Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, H.V. Parrish, Jr.; second husband, Efird Garner; and her beloved mother in-law, Blanche Parrish.

Surviving are her son, Jeff Parrish and wife, Effie who Jeanette considered her special daughter in-law of Kernersville; daughters, Cindy Parrish of Kernersville, and Kim Watkins and husband, Todd of Franklin; sisters, Doris Easter, Shirley Campbell and husband, Billy, Becky Pless and husband, Lewis; brothers, Richard Dull and wife, Pat, Billy "" George"" Dull and wife, Candi; step daughters, Alana, LaDonna, Shanra, and Melodi; granddaughters, Melissa, Emily, Elizabeth and Morgan; grandsons, Chris and Jason; great-grandchildren, Elijah and Alexandria; seven step-granddaughters; ten step great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews that she dearly loved.

A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 1, 2015 at Kernersville Wesleyan Church with Rev. Phil Hulen, Rev. Richard Loman and Rev. Trent Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel.
