Jean Shutt Stoltz

WALKERTOWN - Mrs. Jean Shutt Stoltz, 77, passed away Sunday, September 2, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. Jean was born on March 11, 1935 in Forsyth County to the late Harold and Pearl Vogler Shutt. She was a member of Walkertown First Baptist Church and retired as the Office Manager from Stoltz Tire and Automotive, a family owned business of which she was very active in the daily operations. In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by one son, Steven Stoltz and one brother, Larry Shutt. Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Aubrey Stoltz of the home; three sons, Robert Stoltz of Winston-Salem, Jimmy Stoltz (wife, Debbie) of Walkertown and Michael Stoltz (wife, Alison) of Walkertown; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one brother, Harold Ray Shutt (wife, Linda) of Winston-Salem; and one sister, Dorothy French (husband, Robert) of Mocksville. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Walkertown First Baptist Church with Rev. Phillip Wagoner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 AM prior to the service at the church. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
