Jean Pruitt

Mrs. Jean Yates Pruitt, 90, of Winston-Salem, passed away Friday, October 21, 2022 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born August 11, 1932 in Forsyth County to Percy Lee Yates and Lois Burns Yates. Jean was a member of Friedland Moravian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas B. Pruitt, Jr. Surviving are her three children, Dru Ellen P. Brown, Marshal Pruitt (SuEllen) and Darren Pruitt (Susan); five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Friedland Moravian Church with Rev. John G. Rights and Rev. Adam Goodrich officiating. Interment will follow in Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church.
