Jean Saintsing Lowstetter

Mrs. Jean Saintsing Lowstetter, 58 passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at her residence. She was born August 23, 1954 in Forsyth County to Olin Everette Saintsing and Myrtle Hyatt Saintsing. Mrs. Lowstetter was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. She worked for R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company for 33 years. She was a member of Mount Tabor United Methodist Church, where she was very active in Circle #5 and the Sunday Symposium Class. Surviving are her husband, Gary E. Lowstetter; son, Brandon Reid Lowstetter; sister Anne Saintsing Amos; two special nephews, Charlie and Ben Amos; special friends, Jack Everhart (deceased wife Janet), Mark and Diane Wilson, Dan and Marilyn Stempkowski, and Bob and Susan Walsworth. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Midway United Methodist Church with Dr. Mark J. Key officiating. She will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Friday, July 26, 2013 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Choir Fund of Midway United Methodist Church, 9795 Old Hwy 52 S., Winston-Salem, NC 27107. Online condolences can be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
