Mrs. Jean Elizabeth Bodford Faircloth, 83, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2015. The daughter of John and Molly Bodford, she was born on January 28, 1932, in Forsyth County, North Carolina. In this mortal world, love is the only intransient and transcendent state. Jean spent her life sowing the seeds of a legacy of love that will continue to reverberate throughout this world long after the artificial edifices have crumbled. Her gentle heart felt most at home exploring the wonders of the natural world; and will always be remembered as the glowing example of understanding and compassionate care that she was. Her spirit lives on in the hearts of those she touched most dearly, as the foundation of love she provided is continually expressed through the lives of her daughters and grandchildren. Her husband, Thomas Frank Faircloth, Jr., precedes her in death. She is survived by her daughters Debbie Faircloth; Robyn Glance (Jeff); Beverly Routh (Neil); her grandchildren Chris Vogler (Sarah Grace); Betsy Vogler; Nathaniel Routh; Zachary Routh; Jacob Routh; and Amanda Edden. She is also survived by her sister, Ruby Jarvis Clinard. A celebration of her life will be held at New Philadelphia Moravian Church in Winston-Salem on July 19 at 4:30 PM with visitation to follow in the church parlor with Rev. Dr. Worth Green officiating along with Rev. Dr. David Marcus. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Sunnyside Ministry 319 Haled St, Winston-Salem, NC 27127 or New Philadelphia Moravian Church Graveyard Fund 4440 Country Club Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27104.
