Jayne was a child that experienced the Great Depression and the 2nd World War and many wars and conflicts that followed. She married at age 18 to James Nicholas Hasenflu (Nick), Jr, a Marine Corp. Veteran. They were married for 68 years spending most of those years in Callary PA attending Crestview Presbyterian Church. Jayne and her husband Nick both accepted Christ in their mid to late seventies and moved with their daughter Diane (Steve) to North Carolina where they became members of Kerwin Baptist Church where she loved to sing in the choir and attend Sunday School with the friends she made in "Dorcas' class". She loved to help others and had a passion for sewing. She was gifted in both singing and sewing and used those to encourage and help others. She liked to walk, walking a mile every day up into her 94th year. She also attended Tai Chi classes every Friday with her friend Kay. She and Kay loved to sew clothes for children in third world counties, but also knitting hats for children in Kerwin's bus ministry. Jayne was an intelligent, strong woman who was the matriarchal leader of her family, joining the work force as a US Postal employee to put her middle son, Denny through College. She was a dedicated wife, mother and friend who enjoyed life serving others. In addition to her parents, Herbert and Mildred Hall, Jayne was preceded in death by her three brothers, Charles, John, and Robert Hall, her two sons, David and Denny Hasenflu. She is survived by her daughter Diane Nesbitt (Steve) and son, Christopher Hasenflu(Diane), her grandchildren and great grandchildren and a host of church friends both in NC and PA.
