Jason Liu

Jason G. Liu, 37, of Greenville, NC was called home to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 22, 2022.

Jason was born in Forsyth County, NC,  and grew up in Lumberton, NC. He graduated from Lumberton High School in 2003 and went on to East Carolina University where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in 2008. Jason's passions in life were the love he had for his family, bringing laughter and smiles to whomever he could, and most of all, his love for art. Jason was at his happiest when he was able to create and share his talents with the world.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Yee Chung Liu and Cheng Gil Liu of China; and his maternal grandparents, Ming Nang Chau and Choi Tai Chau of Winston Salem.

He is loved and will be missed by many including his parents, Kwan and Hana Liu; his sisters, Karen Liu, and Irene Howell; brother-in-law, Kevin Howell; his niece, Rena Howell; his extended family, The Fu's; cousins, The Zheng-Yen's; many aunts and uncles of China, and many more cousins around the world.

Jason was laid to rest by his family in a private ceremony on July 1, 2022.
