Jason Don Lemar

Kernersville - Jason Don Lemar, 21, of Kernersville, NC, loving son, brother, grandson and nephew went to be with his Lord Saturday, May 2, 2009. He was born in Forsyth County. He loved his family, his dog Boomer, fishing with his relatives in the mountains, going to turkey shoots with his father and grandfather, and he loved to play practical jokes. He attended Century Park Baptist Church. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his mother, Sharon Simmons, stepfather, Billy Simmons; father Gary Lemar; sister Bridgette Broadstreet; step sister, Lorie Simmons; grandparents Ida Mae Pate, Don and Marcie Lemar; uncle Tony Lemar and wife Brenda; and very special friends, Drew Bapson, Doug & Mary. He was also loved by many cousins in Bee Log, NC, where he loved to visit. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Stanley Pate. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Glenn Murphy and Tim Shields officiating. Interment will follow at Sandy Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m. on Monday, May 4, 2009 at the funeral home.
