Jacqueline Ann Pryor Kron was born in Commerce, OK on June 10, 1927 and died in Winston-Salem, NC on March 9, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. Her parents John and Flora Pryor preceded her in death. She is survived by her children, Carol, Paul (Kathy) and Lori (Kevin); her grandchildren, Daniel (Kaellen), Evan (Anna), Ben (Susanna), Katherine, Emma, Halle and Brenna; her great grandchildren, Daniel, Isaiah and Addison; her sister Patricia (Fred); her niece Elaine and her nephew, Fred John. Jackie grew up in Kansas City, MO, moved to western Kansas as a young married woman and raised her family in East Lansing, MI. At age 50 she completed her BA in Social Work at MSU, worked for many years as a caseworker helping persons elderly and/or disabled stay in their homes. She retired to open a quilting studio on ""her mountain"" in Silver City, NM. She recently moved to Winston-Salem NC. She was an active church member throughout her life beginning at Linwood Presbyterian Church in Kansas City, MO. She later helped to establish Eastminster Presbyterian Church in East Lansing, MI and served as an Elder at her churches in NM and NC. Jackie dedicated every facet of her life to loving and caring for others. Memorial gifts may be sent in support of her most recent passion, the Covenant Presbyterian Church Fine Arts Camp for Youth at 3627 Konnoak Dr, Winston-Salem, NC 27127 in care of Dr Kevin Sloan, Music Director. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM with a memorial service from 3:00 to 4:00 PM on Friday, March 11, 2011 at the Church.
