Janice Lowder King

Winston-SalemJanice Lowder King, resident of Granville Place passed away peacefully at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home Saturday, February 18, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Mattie Lowder; brothers, Bill and John Lowder; sisters, Lib Mason, Frances Hunter, Mattie Whitt, Dorothy Reynolds, and Ruth Long. Mrs. King is survived by several nephews and nieces and a beloved friend and caregiver Ethelene McCauley. She was a member of Calvary Moravian Church and a retiree of Bellamy Research. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Salem Moravian Graveyard with Rt. Rev. Lane Sapp and Rev. Dallas W. Prestwood officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Elizabeth Greene, niece, wishes to express love and gratitude to Dr. Walter Wray and his nurse, Cheryl, Dr. Kim Kinsley and all the staff at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home for their compassionate care.
