Janice Hart

Kernersville – Janice Ann Sheltra Hart, 81, formerly of Waterown, NY, walked her way into Heaven on April 5, 2022. She was born January 31, 1941, to the late Roy Sheltra and Eveylyn Donna. Ms. Hart worked 20 plus years and retired from Watertown City School District. Janice loved to walk, she walked everywhere. Janice was an avid Elvis fan and loved Yahtzee, dancing and her cats, but most of all, she loved her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Louis Hart, Sr. and daughter, Loretta Hart, three sisters, Shirley, Barbara, and Gwen.

Surviving are two sons, William (Lorie) Hart of NC, Fred (Nancy) Hart of NY, and a daughter, Lori (David) Mackie of SC, a daughter-in-law, Kim Hart of NC, two brothers, Winston of Arizona, and Mert of Tenn., two sisters, Bonnie of IN and Valerie of VT, 15 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren.

Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held at a later date.
