Janet Cook Craver

Janet Ellen Cook Craver, 61, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 1, 2023, and is in the more immediate presence of our Lord and Savior. She was born in Forsyth County on November 30, 1961, to the late Fred A. Cook and Betty C. Cook. Janet graduated from Edgewood Christian High School in the class of 1980. It was during this time that she met the love of her life, Bradd, and that’s where they started their wonderful journey together. Janet was a kindhearted and loving person. She took every opportunity that she was given to make the people around her feel welcome and blessed. Janet always stayed involved in ministry work which included mission trips, praise singing, and both national and international public speaking. In her free time Janet enjoyed traveling to Saint Martin, taking Disney trips, and watching sports. Most of all, she enjoyed spending meaningful time with her beloved family and friends. In addition to her parents, Janet is preceded in death by her brother, David F. Cook. She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Bradd Craver; sons, Austin Joseph Craver, and Andrew Beeson Craver; mother-in-law, Bonnie Craver; brother-in-law, Dan Craver; special friend, Jennifer Tuttle Gentle; and numerous other extended family members and friends. A visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Hope Moravian Church.
